In support of Pink October, the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. and partner companies Delboni and Dasa brought together all female students and family members of students over the age of 18 for a very important conversation about awareness of breast cancer and cervical cancer.
Taught by Dr. Philipe Saccab, cardiologist and coordinator of the INJR health space, and with the participation of Dr. Dulceleia Alessi, manager of corporate citizenship at Dasa and Daniel Castilho, laboratory coordinator at Delboni, the lecture was intended to spread knowledge and ensure information for a quick and effective diagnosis.

for Dr. Dulceleia Alessi, the conversation exceeded all Dasa’s expectations. “There is a very big taboo on women’s health, especially in these communities. We managed to move, take away the shame. And knowing that it is common and that it is very sad for a woman, any human being, to get sick because of a simple exam”, she says. Dr. was pleased with the response of the women and the interest in taking the exams, some for the first time at age 50.
Delboni will be at the side of the Institute, actively acting in the cause, and the first step will be the availability of exams for the women family members of our students. According to Daniel Castilho, carrying out these exams is a social mission. “For us it is an achievement. I think we need to take the health that people want everywhere, so it is very important for us to open these agendas, offer these exams so that everyone has access to health, have quality of life, which is the most important thing. It will be very pleasant to continue on this journey together with the Neymar Institute to be able to bring health to people”, comments the coordinator.

The Doctor. Philipe Saccab answered all the doubts of the women present and was responsible for bringing this message to the Institute. “It was very gratifying, it shows that we were able to reach most of the people who were present here, and the result could not be different from what we had. Thank you very much”, thanks the doctor.
For Edna Santos, mother of an INJR student, the lecture was very important to clarify the matter and, above all, to make everyone aware of prevention. “Was amazing. Being here at the Institute and being able to participate. We have many doubts about cancer and we have cleared all doubts. We asked the doctor a lot of questions! The affection of all the employees who make this junction, who welcome each mother, each father, each child. We feel so welcomed, so loved,” she says.
