Seis times disputaram um lugar na grande final mundial, que acontece no dia 24 de maio, no Qatar
O maior evento de futebol amador do mundo está de volta! Neste domingo (1), o Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. recebeu a final nacional do Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five e conheceu os campeões brasileiros feminino, o Resenha 013 e masculino Consagrados, que vão disputar a Final Mundial no dia 24 de maio, no Qatar. Organizado pela Red Bull, o evento está em sua quarta edição e reúne jogadores de futebol amador do mundo inteiro.
Ao todo, 36 atletas, divididos em 3 times de 3 estados diferentes, estiveram no INJR para disputar os 14 jogos que determinaram os dois finalistas das duas categorias da competição: mista e feminina. Na categoria mista, os times Consagrados (SP), Street Five (MG) e Eurose7e (PE) brigaram por uma chance no pódio final. Na feminina, os times que conquistaram um lugar na final nacional foram: Resenha 013 (SP), Exterminadoras F.C (MG) e Vila Show (PE).
Os times disputaram o título nacional visando à fase internacional e a chance de jogar cara a cara com Neymar Jr. E como funcionam os jogos do Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five? Com partidas de 10 minutos e ausentes de goleiro, o objetivo é eliminar todos os 5 jogadores do outro time. A cada gol marcado, 1 jogador é eliminado da partida.
O jogador do time Street Five, João Lucas Nunes, conta que os cinco pisaram no gramado do INJR com vontade de entregar uma boa performance e tudo se resumiu ao grande objetivo: chegar na final e poder enfrentar o Neymar Jr. “Conhecer o Neymar é um sonho para qualquer jogador de futebol, qualquer pessoa que gosta de futebol tem o sonho, com certeza, de conhecer o Neymar e não é diferente com a gente. Somos todos fãs do Neymar e a vontade de chegar lá e jogar com ele, ter uma resenha e bater uma bolinha com ele é muito grande e a expectativa é muito alta”, completa João Lucas.
Yuri Trajano Albuquerque, integrante do Eurose7e, conta que o caminho não foi fácil. “Participar do Neymar Jr’s Five é um sonho que a gente sempre quis realizar, e graças a Deus, nós tivemos uma dificuldade de ir para Recife, mas conseguimos ir e chegamos até aqui. Está sendo muito bom, graças a Deus nós conseguimos hoje sair com duas vitórias e um empate”.
Elaine Barbosa dos Prazeres, do time feminino Vila Show, destacou a importância da igualdade entre o futebol feminino e masculino dentro do evento. “É muito importante essa visibilidade que ele [Neymar Jr.] está dando para o futebol feminino. A gente precisa dele, a gente precisa do masculino para ser reconhecida, e ele está dando isso pra gente, através desse torneio que é igual para o feminino e masculino, a gente tem a mesma oportunidade e está recebendo as mesmas coisas. É incrível”, conta. Para ela, o segredo da competição é ter raça e, principalmente, jogar em equipe.
Para Rafaela Dulcinéia Furtado, jogadora do Exterminadoras FC, o entrosamento do grupo é o motivo do bom desempenho da equipe. “A gente já joga juntas há um tempo e acho que isso favorece um pouco pra gente e acho que vai dar tudo certo. A gente está muito feliz só de estar aqui no Instituto”.
Depois de 6 jogos entre as equipes mistas e 6 jogos entre as equipes femininas, foram os times Consagrados, Eurose7e, Resenha 013 e Exterminadoras F.C que se classificaram para os dois jogos decisivos na final. Mas foram os dois times campeões de São Paulo, Consagrados e Resenha 013, que levaram a melhor e puderam subir ao pódio, ganhando a chance de participar da grande final mundial em Doha, no Qatar.
Para Lucaneta, do time misto Consagrados, o sentimento é de alegria e expectativa para os próximos passos no campo. “Eu estou muito feliz. É a segunda vez que a gente está indo para o mundial. A gente ficou engasgado porque a gente perdeu nas quartas de final e não foi por causa de gol, futebol, foi por causa de uma expulsão de um menino do nosso time, e a gente queria muito esse título e, graças a Deus, Ele nos honrou que a gente vai para o Qatar agora representar o Brasil novamente”.
Édely Meirelles Fontes, do campeão Resenha 013, conta que o time é apenas alegria após a conquista do lugar no pódio. “Nós estamos muito animadas, muito felizes, Graças a Deus. A gente teve um começo muito conturbado, mas a gente conseguiu virar. Estamos muito felizes e radiantes, não tem nem como expressar esse sentimento de vitória”.
Duda Duarte, Mestre de Cerimônia da Red Bull, conta como funcionou o torneio neste domingo no Instituto. “O Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five envolve, aqui no Brasil, 800 atletas. Hoje, os três times das categorias mista e feminina que venceram em Campinas, Belo Horizonte e Recife se enfrentaram em um triangular inicial, para depois fazer uma super final. E agora eles vão jogar o mundial e, quem vencer, enfrenta a super final com o Neymar Jr”. Para os finalistas, ele deixa um recado de motivação: “Com certeza, uma das coisas que eu mais me orgulho é saber que brasileiros estão vencendo pelo mundo, assim como o Neymar. Então eu quero dedicar ao Renegados da Baixada, Frontal Bulls, Resenha 013 e Consagrados, todo meu coração e torcida, e tenho certeza que vocês são brasileiros e não vão desistir de tentar pelo título”.

The biggest amateur football event in the world is back! This Sunday (1), the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. hosted the national final of the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five and met the Brazilian female champions, Resenha 013 and male Consecrated, who will compete in the World Finals on May 24, in Qatar. Organized by Red Bull, the event is in its fourth edition and brings together amateur football players from all over the world.
In all, 36 athletes, divided into 3 teams from 3 different states, were at the INJR to play the 14 games that determined the two finalists in the two categories of the competition: mixed and female. In the mixed category, the Consecrated teams (SP), Street Five (MG) and Eurose7e (PE) fought for a chance on the final podium. In the women’s, the teams that won a place in the national final were: Resenha 013 (SP), Exterminadoras F.C (MG) and Vila Show (PE).
The teams competed for the national title aiming at the international stage and the chance to play face to face with Neymar Jr. And how do the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five games work? With 10-minute matches and no goalkeeper, the objective is to eliminate all 5 players from the other team. For every goal scored, 1 player is eliminated from the match.
The Street Five player, João Lucas Nunes, says that the five set foot on the INJR lawn with the desire to deliver a good performance and it all came down to the great objective: to reach the final and be able to face Neymar Jr. “Meeting Neymar is a dream for any football player, anyone who likes football has the dream, of course, of meeting Neymar and it’s no different with us. We are all Neymar fans and the desire to get there and play with him, have a review and hit a ball with him is very big and the expectation is very high”, completes João Lucas.
Yuri Trajano Albuquerque, a member of Eurose7e, says that the path was not easy. “Participating in Neymar Jr’s Five is a dream that we always wanted to fulfill, and thank God, we had a hard time going to Recife, but we managed to go and we got here. It’s been very good, thank God we managed to leave today with two wins and a draw”.
Elaine Barbosa dos Prazeres, from the Vila Show women’s team, highlighted the importance of equality between women’s and men’s football within the event. “This visibility that he [Neymar Jr.] is giving to women’s football is very important. We need him, we need men to be recognized, and he is giving us that, through this tournament that is the same for women and men, we have the same opportunity and are receiving the same things. It’s incredible,” he says. For her, the secret of competition is to have race and, above all, to play as a team.

After 6 games between the mixed teams and 6 games between the female teams, it was the Consecrated teams, Eurose7e, Resenha 013 and Exterminadoras F.C that qualified for the two decisive games in the final. But it was the two champion teams from São Paulo, Consagrados and Resenha 013, that prevailed and were able to reach the podium, earning the chance to participate in the grand finale in Doha, Qatar.
For Lucaneta, from the mixed team Consagrados, the feeling is one of joy and expectation for the next steps in the field. “I’m very happy. It’s the second time we’re going to the world cup. We got choked up because we lost in the quarterfinals and it wasn’t because of a goal, football, it was because of a boy being sent off from our team, and we really wanted this title and, thank God, He gave us honored that we are going to Qatar now to represent Brazil again”.

Duda Duarte, Master of Ceremonies at Red Bull, tells how the tournament worked this Sunday at the Institute. “The Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five involves 800 athletes here in Brazil. Today, the three teams from the mixed and female categories that won in Campinas, Belo Horizonte and Recife faced each other in an initial triangular, to then make a super final.
