O Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. completou um ano de portas fechadas no dia 18 de março de 2021 por conta da pandemia. Mesmo após as medidas das autoridades públicas contra o avanço da COVID-19, e o início da vacinação no Brasil, a pandemia avança pelo país. Com as notícias negativas sobre a situação de milhares de brasileiros, a Presidente do Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr., Nadine Gonçalves, falou sobre como foi decidir fechar as portas do Projeto Social, por tempo indeterminado.

Além da saudade, segundo a presidente do INJR, a preocupação também cresceu. Em vídeo dedicado a retratar a situação delicada pela qual o país passa, Nadine conta sobre como tem enfrentado o último ano, entre a apreensão e o zelo pelas milhares de famílias que o Instituto atende anualmente.
“A gente não sabe como as crianças estão na casa delas. Se eu pudesse eu ia de casa em casa. Eu fico preocupada, pensando em como estão as crianças, como está a educação delas, como eles estão na rua, os pais, será que perderam alguém da família? Estão comendo, se alimentando?”, relata Nadine, que inclui as famílias, diariamente, em suas orações. Esse é o jeito que ela encontra de, mesmo de longe, proteger as crianças e adolescentes que tanto significam para ela e sua família.
Os colaboradores do Instituto Neymar Jr., que são essenciais no andamento do projeto, também foram uma preocupação para a presidente e para a família. “O Instituto ficar parado durante esse ano todo foi muito preocupante, porque não queríamos mandar ninguém embora. A gente poderia diminuir salários, podia mandar embora, até mesmo fechar. Mas resolvemos pedir a Deus para que ele nos direcione e nos capacite para que a gente possa continuar”. A diretoria do INJR decidiu manter todos os empregos de seus colaboradores com folha salarial mensal de R$600.000.

Are they eating, eating? ”, Says Nadine, who includes families daily in her prayers. This is the way she finds, even from afar, to protect the children and adolescents who mean so much to her and her family.
The employees of the Neymar Jr. Institute, who are essential in the progress of the project, were also a concern for the president and the family. “The Institute being idle for the whole year was very worrying, because we didn’t want to send anyone away. We could cut wages, we could send them away, even close them. But we decided to ask God to direct us and enable us so that we can continue ”. INJR’s management decided to keep all employees’ jobs with a monthly payroll of R $ 600,000.
