In September, another course offered by the partnership between Instituto Neymar Jr. and the Instituto Mix de Profissões began: the professional manicure and pedicure course. Offered to parents and family members of students assisted by INJR, the course aims to provide tools and knowledge, aiming at increasing per capita income and autonomous insertion in the job market.
The professional manicure and pedicure course, which provides complete learning about the universe of nails, teaching the notions of hygiene to perform manicure and pedicure, how to make francesinha, decorated nails, gradient enamel, nail art and how to use enamel stamps. Offered to parents and family members of students assisted by INJR, the course aims to provide tools and knowledge, aiming at increasing per capita income and autonomous insertion in the job market.

Lasting 4 months, the professional course provides a complete learning about the universe of nails, teaching the notions of hygiene to perform the manicure and pedicure, how to make francesinha, decorated nails, gradient enamel, nail art and how to use stamps in enamelling.
The Pedagogical Coordinator of Instituto Mix, Adriel Oliveira, highlights that this is the 4th class formed by the link between the institutes, which proves the success of the partnership. “It’s been wonderful, because we see, in the first classes, the transformation taking place in the lives of the students and the instructor, who is handpicked. And the objective [to transform] is the same, both of Instituto Mix de Profissões and Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr.”, comments the Coordinator.
For the manicure and pedicure classes, the hand-picked Instructor of Instituto Mix was Sandra Regina Pasquini who, from the very first class, was proud to be an active part of this social transformation. “It’s great to be able to help needy people and they have very good expectations”, says Sandra, adding that the classes will excite the students as they are completely dynamic and practical.

Genivalda Valentim de Oliveira, mother of a student at INJR, thanks the partnership for the opportunity to add another learning experience to her curriculum. “I’m very happy. Everything we learn is productive and will be useful for our lives. I am very happy, very grateful”, she says.
For the mother Palmira Custódio dos Reis Silva, the professional courses are proof that she is not old enough to dream or to start a new venture that can help with income. “I feel happy, because after 50, everything is more difficult. Employment, opportunities. I was happy because I had the opportunity to take a course at age 50, for free, without paying anything”, adds Palmira.
