Na sexta-feira (16), o Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. recebeu a visita da equipe do Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (Creas) de Praia Grande. O Creas é uma unidade pública, responsável por atender famílias em situação de risco social ou que tiveram seus direitos violados. Em virtude da parceria com a Prefeitura de Praia Grande, o departamento de Assistência Social do INJR trabalha com o apoio da unidade para assistir as famílias atendidas. 

Segundo Alessandra Ramos, coordenadora do Creas de Praia Grande, o trabalho em conjunto entre a unidade e o Instituto é vital. “Nós atendemos um público prioritário no CREAS. São pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social por violação de direito violência. As crianças que a gente atende lá, muitas delas estão inseridas nesse território que o Projeto Neymar atende, e a oportunidade que elas têm de estar inseridas em um espaço que oferta tantas atividades, educacionais, culturais, de lazer, que contribuem para o fortalecimento familiar e superação dessa situação que ela vivenciou de violação à violência, ou pela vulnerabilidade social”, conta.

Alessandra reforça que o trabalho do Instituto Neymar Jr. é essencial para as famílias do bairro Glória e para o auxílio no apoio àquelas que vivem em vulnerabilidade social. “Eu entendo que o trabalho realizado aqui fortalece a família para que ela possa superar as situações em que ela se encontra de vulnerabilidade, então é muito importante para a gente. E para o município, é um privilégio ter uma estrutura dessas aqui, inserida na nossa cidade”, completa a coordenadora.

Renata da Silva Rodrigues, Assistente Social do INJR, conta que o trabalho realizado em conjunto com o Creas é essencial, pois o projeto identifica os episódios familiares e encaminha para a unidade para que o suporte prossiga. “É importante fazer o atendimento em conjunto, a nossa parceria é essa. Estamos sempre em contato, trocando informação sobre as famílias, se continuam no atendimento, no serviço, e a gente também dá esse respaldo para eles”.

Segundo Renata, os casos chegam para a assistência por meio dos atendimentos ou são previamente identificados pelos colaboradores do Instituto. “Os atendimentos são espontâneos. Nós identificamos as famílias pelo atendimento e, às vezes algum professor traz algum caso. Então a gente chama a família para entender o que está acontecendo e aí tomamos as providências”, conta a assistente social. 

Sobre o Creas

O Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (Creas) é uma unidade pública da política de Assistência Social onde são atendidas famílias e pessoas que estão em situação de risco social ou tiveram seus direitos violados.

A unidade deve, obrigatoriamente, ofertar o Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Especializado a Famílias e Indivíduos (PAEFI), podendo ofertar outros serviços, como Abordagem Social e Serviço para Pessoas com Deficiência, Idosas e suas famílias. É unidade de oferta ainda do serviço de Medidas Socioeducativas em Meio Aberto.

Além de orientar e encaminhar os cidadãos para os serviços da assistência social ou demais serviços públicos existentes no município, no Creas também se oferece informações, orientação jurídica, apoio à família, apoio no acesso à documentação pessoal e estimula a mobilização comunitária.

On Friday (16), the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. received a visit from the team from the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (Creas) in Praia Grande. Creas is a public unit, responsible for assisting families in situations of social risk or who have had their rights violated. As a result of the partnership with the Municipality of Praia Grande, the Social Assistance department of the INJR works with the support of the unit to assist the families served.

According to Alessandra Ramos, coordinator of Creas in Praia Grande, joint work between the unit and the Institute is vital. “We serve a priority audience at CREAS. They are people in a situation of social vulnerability due to violation of the right to violence. The children we serve there, many of them are inserted in this territory that the Neymar Project serves, and the opportunity they have to be inserted in a space that offers so many activities, educational, cultural, leisure, that contribute to family strengthening and overcoming the situation that she experienced as a violation of violence, or because of social vulnerability”, she says.

Alessandra reinforces that the work of Instituto Neymar Jr. it is essential for families in the Glória neighborhood and for helping to support those who live in social vulnerability. “I understand that the work carried out here strengthens the family so that it can overcome situations in which it is vulnerable, so it is very important for us. And for the municipality, it is a privilege to have such a structure here, inserted in our city”, completes the coordinator.

Renata da Silva Rodrigues, Social Worker at INJR, says that the work carried out together with Creas is essential, as the project identifies family episodes and forwards them to the unit so that support can continue. “It is important to provide care together, that is our partnership. We are always in contact, exchanging information about the families, whether they continue in the service, in the service, and we also provide this support for them”.

According to Renata, cases arrive for assistance through consultations or are previously identified by the Institute’s employees. “The calls are spontaneous. We identify the families through the service and, sometimes, a teacher brings a case. So we call the family to understand what is happening and then we take action”, says the social worker.

About Creas

The Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (Creas) is a public unit of Social Assistance policy where families and people who are at social risk or have had their rights violated are assisted.

The unit must, obligatorily, offer the Service of Protection and Specialized Assistance to Families and Individuals (PAEFI), being able to offer other services, such as Social Approach and Service for People with Disabilities, Elderly and their families. It is also an offer unit of the Socio-educational Measures in Open Environment service.

In addition to guiding and directing citizens to social assistance services or other public services existing in the municipality, Creas also offers information, legal advice, family support, support in accessing personal documentation and encourages community mobilization.
