No dia 23 de dezembro de 2014, o Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. abriu suas portas para apresentar o sonho da família Silva Santos para a comunidade de Praia Grande. Desde então, 6 anos se passaram e o Projeto Social que atua diretamente com cerca de 3 mil criancas e adolescentes mais suas respectivas famílias, impactando 12 mil pessoas, continua escrevendo sua história.

Infelizmente não houve comemoração neste ano de 2020, mas muitos aprendizados foram tirados após meses sem atividades contra a COVID-19. Com as portas fechadas desde o dia 18 de março, a diretoria do Instituto tomou a decisão de preservar acima de tudo a saúde de seus alunos e suas famílias, além de seus colaboradores.

Mas mesmo com esse contratempo, o Instituto Neymar Jr. comemora esse capítulo que foi escrito nessa história de busca pela inclusão social. A Presidente do INJR, Nadine Gonçalves, fez um restrospecto sobre os últimos 6 anos do projeto, que considera um período abençoado.

“Foram seis anos abençoados. Essa seria a palavra, seis anos abençoados. Porque, Graças a Deus, a gente conseguiu levar esses seis anos e eu creio que virão mais e mais anos por aí. A gente não pode parar. Porque todo dia batem na nossa porta os desafios. Mas, Graças a Deus, a gente consegue lidar com isso e a gente pede a Deus a direção certa. Eu acho que a maior conquista que nós podemos ter hoje no Instituto, eu acho que é o bem estar das crianças. Das famílias, dos funcionários, que é importante também”, contou.

Para Neymar da Silva Santos, Vice-Presidente do Instituto Neymar Jr., o maior legado do projeto é a união entre alunos e famílias atendidos. Orgulhoso, ele fala sobre a importância de ajudar na evolução de crianças e adolescentes como cidadãos brasileiros e do mundo.

“Não só o repertório motor, através do esporte, mas o repertório educacional, o repertório social. E saber que, você, nesse momento, tem uma geração que você sabe que você ajudou. Nós vivemos seis anos com o Instituto Neymar Jr. e você planejar os próximos seis anos, isso, realmente, nós temos que fazer. Mas como isso vai acontecer, o que eu espero desses próximos seis ano é continuar. Continuar o meu trabalho, que a gente saia desse momento que o nosso país está vivendo, que o mundo está vivendo”, afirmou.

Inspirado no sonho de Neymar Jr., que morou durante sua infância no bairro Jardim Glória, a apenas duas ruas perto do Instituto, o projeto hoje inspira milhares de pessoas. E acima de tudo, segundo o atleta,

“Os seis anos de Instituto, para mim, representam muito trabalho, muita dedicação, muito amor e carinho, que é o mais importante ali dentro e a realização de um sonho. Cada ano que passa eu fico mais contente, mais feliz por tudo o que o Instituto faz, por ele conseguir ajudar a galera. Pra mim é um orgulho muito grande”, contou.

E não só nesses 6 anos, mas desde que a concessão do terreno foi cedida pela Prefeitura de Praia Grande, bem como as obras do Instituto começaram, o projeto contou com parcerias de empresas, personalidades e atletas que atuaram com doações diretas, indiretas, participações em eventos beneficentes e muito mais.

A todas essas empresas, a Embaixadora do Instituto Neymar Jr., Rafaella Santos, agradeceu pelo carinho e apoio que fez com que o projeto social fizesse a diferença na vida de milhares de pessoas nos últimos 6 anos. “Espero que a gente sirva de inspiração e de exemplo com o que a gente faz dentro do Instituto, que é dar amor. Quero agradecer a cada parceiro que faz do Instituto um lugar tão especial. Sem a ajuda de vocês, não teríamos chegado tão longe. O meu muito obrigada por fazerem parte da nossa história”, finalizou.

Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. completes today, December 23, 6 years anniversary

On December 23, 2014, the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. opened its doors to present the Silva Santos family’s dream to the community of Praia Grande. Since then, 6 years have passed and the Social Project that works directly with about 3 thousand children and adolescents plus their respective families, impacting 12 thousand people, continues to write its story.

Unfortunately, there was no celebration this year 2020, but many lessons were learned after months without activities against COVID-19. With the doors closed since March 18, the Institute’s board made the decision to preserve above all the health of its students and their families, in addition to its employees.

But even with this setback, the Neymar Jr. Institute celebrates this chapter that was written in this story of the search for social inclusion. INJR’s President, Nadine Gonçalves, made a retrospective on the last 6 years of the project, which she considers a blessed period.

“It has been a blessed six years. That would be the word, six blessed years. Because, thank God, we managed to take these six years and I believe that more and more years will come. We can’t stop. Because every day challenges come knocking on our door. But, thank God, we can deal with it and we ask God for the right direction. I think the biggest achievement that we can have today at the Institute, I think is the well-being of children. From families, from employees, which is also important”, she said.

For Neymar da Silva Santos, Vice-President of the Neymar Jr. Institute, the greatest legacy of the project is the union between students and families served. He proudly talks about the importance of helping children and adolescents evolve as Brazilian and world citizens.

“Not only the motor repertoire, through sport, but the educational repertoire, the social repertoire. And to know that, at that moment, you have a generation that you know you helped. We have lived six years with the Neymar Jr. Institute and you plan the next six years, this, really, we have to do. But as it will happen, what I expect from these next six years is to continue. Continue my work, let us leave this moment that our country is living, that the world is living ”, he said.

Inspired by the dream of Neymar Jr., who lived during his childhood in the Jardim Glória neighborhood, just two streets near the Institute, the project today inspires thousands of people. And above all, according to the athlete,
“The six years of the Institute, for me, represent a lot of work, a lot of dedication, a lot of love and affection, which is the most important thing in there and the realization of a dream. Each year that passes I am more happy, happier for everything that the Institute does, because it manages to help people. It is a great pride for me”, he said.

And not only in these 6 years, but since the concession of the land was granted by the Municipality of Praia Grande, as well as the works of the Institute began, the project had partnerships with companies, personalities and athletes who worked with direct, indirect donations, participations at charity events and more.

To all these companies, the Ambassador of the Neymar Jr. Institute, Rafaella Santos, thanked for the affection and support that made the social project make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in the last 6 years. “I hope that we will serve as an inspiration and an example with what we do within the Institute, which is to give love.
