This Monday (26), Neymar Jr. paid a special visit to the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. Accompanied by young player Xavi Simons, his friend and former Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Neymar personally showed him the social work carried out by the institution, which serves thousands of children and teenagers in vulnerable situations.

During the visit, Neymar guided Xavi Simons through the INJR facilities, showing the classrooms, sports courts, leisure areas, and daily activities offered. The player expressed pride in presenting the project’s positive impact, which he founded in 2014 and that provides education, sports, and culture to over 3,000 young people in the region.
The visit reinforces Neymar’s bond with the institute that bears his name and highlights the player’s commitment to social causes. Even off the pitch due to an injury, the number 10 continues to dedicate time to initiatives that seek to transform lives through education and sport.

With Xavi Simons’ presence, Neymar also promotes a cultural and sporting exchange between the youth served by the project and international athletes, expanding the initiative’s reach. The visit was celebrated on the institute’s social media, which thanked the support and emphasized the importance of partnerships and visits like this to keep the mission of offering new opportunities to children and their families alive.
